Mostly near the ocean. Antigua wasnt very affected though, hopefully the people you nkow turned out to be ok. Cool to know someone's who's been there.:wave. Yeah im from Guatemala. I've also been to Panajachel, Tikal, Guatemala City, climbed Volcan Pacaya (can't remember the name of the town). I've never been to the northern part or the beaches there, i can't name every province or town i went to but those are the main ones I remember. But yeah I went to most of the touristy areas. And yes Antigua is very cool:chug: ok, so anyway, i just uploaded quo vadis - day into night (i'll do defiant imagination later), dark age - dark age, and i re-uploaded the andromeda and textures albums. Whats ur e-mail, i can't find it in the list, so i can send them now. Now you're gonna have to wait till one's finished to begin downloading the next now that i used megaupload:O. But at least everyone can download it. Thanx for sharing the tips,I'll try yousendit, wish it woks. Could somebody upload Katatonia's Viva Emptiness or Last Fair Deal Gone Down,I searched some cd stores yesteday, still no hope.maybe the best is always what U don't have I got that one too, i'll try to upload it when i get the chance i have almost every album on the request list this is gonna be impossible:O. Seems like everyone is liking all the Katatonia.if anyone wants, I can upload Dance Of December Souls (their best album imo). It's before their 'depression rock' days as well. Yeah, they've changed their style and become lighter and more vocal, the quiet verse/loud chorus dynamics they accentuate make the loud parts hit harder and the softer parts come through with more detail and that fit me well. In fact,I like them both ways,no matter if it's rough black/doom metal or smooth 'depression rock'. I wouldn't mind the 'The Red Paintings' or the Symphony X (cept TDWOT) if you have time. The Red Paintings album that he has, Your Tears Are Warning Signs, was uploaded last month. The link is still working (I just checked it), so I can foward you that issue now if you like. Just post your email. This Jesu album is taking forever to upload. EDIT: Nevermind. I found you email in your old posts. It's been fowarded to you. Check your spam filter if it's not there.:) EDIT#2: metal guitar, thanks for the Classical stuff you uploaded. I won't get a chance to listen to it until late tomorrow, but it should be interesting. Thanks a lot man, I actually had that issue sent to me but I didn't get into them until the next issue so I musta missed that one. I'll try and upload Pleasure to Kill by Kreator, because lots of people here seem to like that kind of thrash.hopefully it won't take too long though. Also, is there any way to get around having to wait 75 min. In between each Rapidshare download? Because whenever i try and do one right after another it says, 'You have downloaded 'X'KB. Want to download more? Get your own Premium-account now! Instant download-access! I would love Pleasure To Kill, you dont have to do it today though. Awww, i seem to be off the list aswell. What do you call contributing? I posted at least 10 times in this thread (which might not be much but i try), but i didnt have time to post after the last upload as i had band prac and got home and my dad was on here. I do check the request list often and as soon as i see something i have i upload it. Unfortunatly my limited collection means that that has only been 2 albums this months but im trying. Anyway if you'll re-consider i'll contribute more and kick my dad off more often (although its his birthday tomorrow and that would be mean). If you do put me on im going away for the week end so i wont post until late Sun/Mon morning. Jpshortstuff (@gmail.com) EDIT: Checked request list: i'll upload C&C - In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth 3 if thats contributing, and if no ones dibbed it - Second Stage Turbine Blade EDIT 2: Also from the last issue i got, thank you incredibly much for the JP album, the lamb of God and the God Forbid:thumb: EDIT 3: WISH - just read back through post, did you dib both C&C albums? The guy after said something about if you could do TSSTB it would be great. Anyway i'll upload IKSOSE3 anyway and if you want all the recognition i wont send the link. And seriously kamiccollo has posted a couple hundred times since he posted his email address in the february daily upload thread, probably got links to 200 albums or more before I cut him off. If you simply come into the thread once a week and say 'Hey thanks for such n such'. I won't take you off the list. You don't have to ever upload anything. But what I really like is for people to talk about the new music that they are being exposed to, that is supposed to be the point of this thread. If anyone wants it, i have a link in my emails somewhere to Death - Symbolic, it's on uploading.com and is an old link with a slow download speed, but it still works. It's another thing i found off an old mailing list. It's been done a couple times here, I'd have to check to see if we still have working links. 3/1/2006 Death Symbolic Uploaded by tayeman 2/20/2006 Death Spiritual Healing Uploaded by Daven 2/15/2006 Death Individual Thought Patterns Uploaded by Daven 2/14/2006 Death Human Uploaded by Daven 2/14/2006 Death Leprosy Uploaded by eighty d 2/11/2006 Death Symbolic Uploaded by Daven. YSI is decent. I'll give it that. However, it's prone to fucking up half way through an upload, and thus I have to restart. That's really inconvenient. It also doesn't have an upload status bar, which can be annoying. Perhaps your IC is the problem? I never have YSI crap out on me. Status bar doesn't mean shit. The upload will finish when it does. Megaupload is a joke. It has pop-ups. You have to click through an advertisement page before you can even start to 'wait for your download'. And frankly, it is much more reliable than anything else anyway. I agree 100% with that. The latest (2011 or so, the one with a bonus CD) version of Human sounds really different because, in the first place, it's a remix, not just another remaster. The remix fixes the standard 'problem' (or rather the old-school recording approach) with the bass making its parts/notes actually audible. Also, it changes some little things here and there (mostly related to drums panning) but, overall, the album still sounds like Human. If you can tolerate the average DR of 7 dB (i.e. No head-room to speak of, but listenable nevertheless), I would recommend to go with the new remix/remaster. The Patterns remix is a different beast - it's rather a fascinating alternative listen, because the drums have absolutely different and more straightforward sound/feel to them - as opposed to the pretty 'small' drum sound of the original. Try before you buy (although I find the bonus CD in the Patterns set essential - it has a terrific, if occasionally out-of-tune, live set from the period). Although dynamics are squashed almost twice (12 vs 6bd), these do sound pretty good. Sound is bigger and fuller, especially on P atterns, IMO, although I admit I haven't listened to the original in a while. Human sounds cleaner and with more pronounced drums. It also seems Spiritual Healing reissue is on the way in November. No word on remastering or remixing yet. By the way, for the best sounding version of Symbolic, seek the evasive Canadian pressing on Attic Records, MFG BY CINRAM matrix. It is 3db more dynamic than others.
